Hello!  I'm Mrs. Shea (pronounced like "Shay"), and I teach 9th grade Algebra 2/Geometry, both college and honors sections.  

In previous years in the Muhlenberg School District I have taught Precalculus (10th-12th grade), Consumer Math (12th grade), Algebra/Geometry (10th grade), Algebra 1 (8th and 9th grade) and Algebra 2/Geometry (9th grade).  I am also certified in English as a Second Language.  My own goal is to eventually be fluent in at least 4 languages (I am striving to continue improving my Spanish and French, and also working on learning Arabic)

Teaching is everything to me, and I'm very dedicated to helping every student succeed.  I encourage students to develop a growth mindset and recognize that EVERYONE can do math, and everyone can learn and improve.  I'm passionate about learning new languages and especially love working with students who are emergent bilinguals or multi-lingual.
