Debate Presentation
I use this presentation to introduce debate in my classroom and the format for writing a position paper. All students will be required to write position papers at some point during the school year. -
Debate Format
At times, we will use debate in my class. This is the format we will use when teams of three will compete. This procedure will be discussed in class, but is included here for reference. -
Debate Scoring Rubric
This rubric will be used by the 'judge' to assign points during a classroom debate. There is no relationship between debate 'scores' and 'grades.' -
Debate Scoring Ballot
This form will be used by the 'judge' to take notes and keep score during the debate. The score does not impact the grade. -
Library Review Sheet
This sheet will be used to assess student work in the library. This sheet is designed to assess group work, but could easily be used to assess individual work.
